Refined pair of prints dating back to the early 1900s, inspired by the famous decorative panels of Raphael's Vatican Loggias, taken from the original series “Delle Loggie di Rafaele nel Vaticano”, published between 1772 and 1777 and engraved by Giovanni Ottaviani.
The prints reproduce with great fidelity and attention to detail two decorative panels from the Vatican cycle, characterised by Renaissance ornamental motifs, grotesques, volutes, garlands and mythological and allegorical scenes, according to the classical aesthetic reinterpreted by Raphael.
